So? Norway, Spain and the USA are included. What's your point?

Politics at its finest gentlemen. Lying debauchery and cheating people of the truth, truly at it's finest.

I long to see the pro-Israel butt battalion make their way.

    Oh L'Chaim where are you?

Well, that's a brilliant exercise in public relations by Israel.

What sort of government breaks off relations with the UNHRC?

    I mean, honestly.

This 'austere body' doesn't seem to have a problem with any other HR abuses except ones that can be blamed on Israel - big fecking surprise! Mauritania which still widespread unofficial slavery was on the body in recent years, 'nuff said!

That's "whataboutery" of the highest order.

I'm sure you could find plenty to complain about in most of the African and Asian member states.

A country where slavery in still an institution has no right to sit in judgment of others, the concept is called credibility if you haven't heard of it?

What about the other 40 odd countries that sit on the panel currently?

Isn't it odd the obsession with Israel? One would think the enforced starvation of 2m million North Koreans might feature?, or the illegal occupations of Western Sahara or West Papua?, but no!

The genocide in Darfur or the Nuba mountains don't seem to be major concerns either, could it be that Muslim members have a blind-spot for atrocities unless the blame can be pinned on Jews and Allah forbid fellow believers should be blamed for anything?

Of course, Beijing looks after its clients in Pyongyang, no matter how many people starve to death there.
