Spanish police - do they need the Fashion police?

RTE just showed clips of the Spanish police railing the boat that allegedly had been dropping drugs off the Irish coast.

One of the Spanish police had designer sunglasses and a ponytail, and a light beard. (And he was in uniform, not undercover). Obviously he watched too much Miami Vice.

Another group of them were in black teeshirts with police written on the back, while one of this group was wearing a balaclava.

Maybe it is time the Spanish police were tackled by the fashion police.

And I thought our current garda uniforms look tacky.
