Whining?? I think Fisk is one of the most impartial commentators you will find on the ME. The fact he doesn't take sides is a strength of his, not a weakness. It is a sign of his neutrality that everybody complains about him. He displays everybody's dirty laundry in public, rather than the usual deliberate slanted reporting, designed to support their 'team', which most newsmen employ these days.

He does what a good reporter is supposed to do; he reports facts and allows the reader to draw their own conclusion. I think it is a welcome change to see articles which do not subscribe to the 'you're either with us or agin us (sic)' style of editorial comment all too prevalent in the MSM these days. And it is a breath of fresh air to have a reporter who actually does not claim to have god like powers who knows the solution to everything.

If you really need to be told what, and how to think, perhaps you should avoid Fisk, and subscribe to Bill O'Reilly of Fox News instead.

Where do you see any impartiality (snide references to 'La Clinton', "Clinton-style huffing and puffing") in that article YOU referenced? He criticizes attempts to isolate Syria - but he can point to no alternative suggestion anybody is making that would halt the slaughter in Syria. He laments the murder of Gaddify, should we infer we should be worried in case Assad meets the same fate? I think not. The he ends with a snide, juvenile reference to the British Navy. Yeah, he is a beacon of impartiality alright.

Ah, I see now where the problem lies. It is in your reading comprehension skills He is not referring to the murder of Gadaffi, he is referring to the murder of Abdel-Fattah Younis.

As I stated already he criticises every side, so if you believe he is showing partiality perhaps you could tell us on whose behalf??
