The BBC reported this morning that there were 2,000 people killed in the Syrian city of Homs - implicitly blaming the Syrian government.
What I'd like to know is, how come they have such good, accurate and fast figures on the numbers killed in Homs and yet they cant tell is how many people their own forces killed in Libya, Iraq or Afghanistan?
How is that...one is so transparant while the other is...just not there???

Why don YOU go there and risk your life confirming that the Syiran government forces only killed 1999 people?

They could be figures obtained by rebels on the ground or the local hospitals/morgues. TBH, these figures are probably too low. Remember that Al Assad's father leveled the city of Hama 30 years ago killing an estimated 20,000 civilians. Seems the nut hasn't fallen far from the tree.
