Yes - but my question is still valid. Russia has used its veto much less often than has the US. So your focus on Russia indicates that you don't mind the UNSC veto being used - you only object when it's used in a manner you disapprove of.

This thread for the final time is about Russia, it's place in the world and it's future.
It is not for an anti-west rant.
I focus on Russia because I'm interested in developments there.

If it is about Russia, then surely it would be better to introduce a discussion on Russia by looking at the situation in Russia and its subjugation of many democratic and leftist groups within its borders? In starting the thread by highlighting Russia as a problem because of its support for what you term 'rogue states', you betray the ideology behind behind your question and invite international comparison.

Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.

You do recall last year the Saudi army assisting the Bahraini forces shooting dead unramed protestors on the streets of Bahrain fighting for democracy and human rights, without a whimper from the West or the fellow travellers like you.

You are a hypocritical fool and a cheerleader for naked US imperialism and fanatical Sunni Islamism.

Not really. It is about decisions being taken by Rusria now and why they are made and what possible outcomes it will result in.

Where, in that tiny space you call a mind do you gather the view and hold it, that I " Hate The West ". I pointed out an obvious fact nothing more. It is this obvious fact that needs responding to, not some vague west hating soundbite.

So do you often start threads on Russian affairs?

And your use of the word 'awkward' is telling. As I've said, Russia uses its veto much less often than the US. I don't agree with the undemocratic make-up of the UNSC, especially the permanent members having veto power. But the fact is that Russia uses this power much less often than the US, so it's hard to see them as being 'awkward'.

    You are a hypocritical fool.
Did you go through every one of Clanrickards posts to make that assertion or is it just a wild throw it out there mindless point?
