Causing a problem for who? The Americans and their despotic puppets in the region? Why is it that at every UN proposal involving dealing with a rogue State, Russia is always causing a problem?
Do you have a problem with powerful states using their UNSC veto to protect brutal regimes? Or only when that state is Russia?

Clanrickard - your response is patronising. My response is about Russia's position.
The west is not free. Just look at this country and the bailout for corporate gamblers with Seanie Bonds, or "regime-change" Greek style, to see that the West is threaten within far more by rich lobbyists, than critics of the policies that are beholden to such vested interests.
It is facade. Just look at "democracy" in Ireland when the electorate decide not to follow the corporate interests......vote again until you do as instructed.
The West has no moral authority to be spreading anything in the Middle East on the justifocation that it will improve matters.
Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.
Yeah they're awkward and do what suits their interests regardless of morality, just like the west which turns a blind eye to what's happening with their friends in Bahrain and Yemen, sells billions of dollars in weapons to dictatorships like Saudi Arabia and pretends to care about democracy . The world is ruled by violence and wealth, anyone who thinks any of the world powers care about justice and morality is a gobsh1te.
It's 350 now, is it? First it was 260, but about an hour ago, according to the BBC, the same source that claimed the massacre last night were now saying that there were 'only' 60 casualties.
Still a shocking number - IF the reports are true. But these reports are completely unconfirmed and uncorroborated, and come from a source which has a very clear interest in encouraging international intervention in Syria. Also, you'd have to be extremely naive not to question the timing at which these 'reports' were released.
