Kicked out of the US over a twitter Joke.

I got pulled in by airport police in Holland last October i couldn't believe it . The cops at passport control said my passport was flagged and i would have to go to the airport cop shop. Turns out i had not paid a fine for having an argument with a traffic warden in 2003 and i owed them 295 yoyos. I normally fly into Germany when going to Holland and drive over the border but Ryanair were doing a great deal to Eindhoven. Anyways the cops were great nice and friendly got me a coffee and asked me would i like to pay them . I said i would but i didn't have the money as i needed it for my weekend of debauchery and could i pay them the next time i was passing. I couldn't believe it when they said yes you can but the next time you get stopped and you DONT have it you will do 5 days in the slammer. If i had been stopped in Germany for the same thing i wouldn't have got out of the airport without paying. All and all it took about a half an hour and i was on my way and i thanked god that their bars are open at the lovely hour of 7 am .

That's the way to promulgate the law.

What is worse is that they were deported and were innocent, that's the mistake. There is either nothing new or indeed wrong IMO in the security services monitoring peoples messages. You should have nothing to fear if you did nothing wrong.

I was laughing my arse off reading this. I can remember years ago as a young soldier coming back to the states. We were warned to have absolutely no paraphnalia on us, i.e, drugs , not even rolling papers. So some idiot soldier in line with us, had in in possesion a pack of EZ-Wider rolling papers. 10 Mins later he is stripped naked with his rear end cheecks spread and they even emptied his toothpaste containers. He learned the hard way.

But on a serious note, it is becoming scary as to how much we are being watched.

Really? I'm off to renew my passport and buy some EZ-Wider rolling papers. What's the cheapest flight to the US these days?
