Care to link to report which reports IAEA saying Iran will have a nuclear weapon this year, or just that IAEA believe that there is a military element to Irans nuclear program.

Libya agreed not to develop nuclear weapons, in return for peace with NATO.

How did that play out ???
Dublin, Europe's most supportive tourist destination for Peados, thanks to no electronic passport swipe in Dublin Airport. Ireland always facilitates child molestors.

Pre-emptive embargo: Iran could turn off oil tap to EU — RT

Iran may turn the sanctions tables by immediately stopping oil supply to Europe. The move is aimed as a response to the EU slapping an embargo on new oil contracts with Tehran. China has lashed out at the sanctions, calling them “blind pressure”.

The European sanctions, which follow a similar move by the US, provide for a grace period lasting until July 1, during which standing contracts with the Islamic Republic may be honored. However Iranian MPs are drafting a new law, which would stop short all supply to Europeans as soon as possible, according to Nasser Soudani, a member of the parliament’s energy committee.

I would put it to you that the countryside is worth more to a nation than merely a location in which a race to the bottom in generating profit occurs. No?

    Two words. Biodiversity. Hedgerows.

Because they maintain both self sufficiency with food and the current fabric of the european countryside, which I at least not not soon swap for the vast swathes of corporate agricultural wastelands seen in the USA.
    All generalisations are false.

This is bordering on pro-war propaganda as the latest sanctions have increased the chances of conflict between Iran and the US/EU/Israel.

Without the one-sided reports on fictional WMD and Saddam-Al Qaeda links there is little chance people in the US and UK would have supported the oil war in Iraq.

An Tainiste... is he in the land of nod as ever.

Eamon Gilmore TD is unlikely to lead us into war against Iran. Military might some years ago stood at 1 million known personel.

And we have what?...10,000 known Army Navy, Aer Corp and cooks of course. Waiters for officers and for the Minister of Defence who would dearly like to deal with Iran.

Eamon may assume that this local Irish army are ready to invade, blockade or otherwise attack Iran.

This little man is treading on very dangerous ground when he rushes to support EU sanctions against Iran.

Sanctions by the same brave forces caused the deaths of up to 1 million children and civilians when imposed against Iraq.

And this from an Irish government who are in fear of a few European Banks and Bond holders.

Would the attack on Iran be like the defence strategy for Ireland against the Troika, absolute and resolute leadership from behind... way, way behind... fade to a dug out in deepest Galway Bay where Gilmore has taken shelter while the Cabinet gather round the maps and plans of attack. Outside packed closely to form an outer shield are hundreds of special advisers , cronies and nepotism circles.

    WTF

What is this clown doing to Iran and how damaging to Ireland?
