Heartless North Koreans face labour camp.

It seems that some people were not sufficiently moved by the passing on of the Dear Leader and as such will find themselves in a labour camp facing "re-education". Proper order I say. How could anyone failed to be moved to tears at his demise?

Seems he emptied the prisons for them- an amnesty for criminals was declared last week according to KCNA.

There is a great book on concentration camps in North Korea, "Acquariums of Pyongyang", that details the case of a young boy sent to one of these camps because his grandfather was deemed to be a danger to the state. The policy was to send the entire family to the concentration camp, not just the "offender".

"It is unclear how many people face incarceration but the figure could be many thousands." asserts the Mail Online.

In which case we can deduce that it could also be just one or two, or many millions or, indeed, even none whatsoever. That's the beauty of Daily Mail stories, since they are all mostly just made up, like this one, the reader can also feel free to interject whatever "facts" he likes to suit his mood.

What is most unusual about this story however is that, unlike most Mail stories, we are not told how it is likely to affect property prices.

He was probably considering the fact that from now on he won't need to go to the toilet and putting the finishing touches to his great new and original invention which involves putting a sausage into a bread roll.

I detect a lack of outrage. More people get upset with GIs pissing on dead people than the incarceration of millions by yet another Socialist dictator.

I'd agree but I think that as 99.9% of posters would agree that NK is run bat s*** crazy style, there is very little they could do to actually shock people.
