    What about the people who have to live ( or should that starve ) under North Korea system. Their welfare should be a bigger concern that them meerly being a 'handy buffer' between SK and China.

    A stable united Korea would suit the Chinese perfectly as it would add growth the Chinese economy and create serious investment oppertunities.

    Same applies to South Korea.
