The Iranian Navy would be wiped out in a matter of hours if they tried to block the straits.

    Is multi-player avail on that?

I think very few people advocate invasion.

DinnerJacket changed that more than a year ago. Now domestic prices are close to market, and most effected receive grants to help them pay for it.

Also, selling internationally is great - but the sanctions mean they can't buy very much for their money anyway. So its not that attractive.

Who cares what navy Iran has when the US ships are off their coast ?
It will be land-based missiles hitting the ships.

The military response from American and its allies would be overwhelming.
The Iranian navy, air defenses, air force and ground forces would be smashed by American air strikes.

    Ratcheting rhetoric?

"The free flow of goods and services through the Strait of Hormuz is vital to regional and global prosperity," spokeswoman Rebecca Rebarich told the BBC, adding that the Navy would be ready to act if required.

"The US Navy is a flexible, multi-capable force committed to regional security and stability, always ready to counter malevolent actions to ensure freedom of navigation."

    No they don't.

And how smashed would the US economy be after $200 - $300 oil ?
