Tony Blair may become a Catholic Deacon

I dont know if this has been reported at all in Ireland, but Blair, soon to visit the Pope, will be announcing his conversion to Catholicism. And furthermore, he has shown an interest in becoming a deacon.

If it's in the Mail, given the record of the Irish one, it just has to be true !

While the mail is an absolute rag unworthy of gracing the arse of inhumanity, there is rumour that Blair will convert to Catholicism after he resigns, from other far-more-reputable sources. I don't know about the "deacon" thing though.

They've got past their "terrorist" typo then.

    True.

But I do find it a bit odd that the British PM feels he has to wait until he leaves his workplace before he can convert to the religion of his choice.

In all fairness a head of state would probably feel the need to wait until he leaves his workplace before he can change to his washingpowder of his choice.
