    So, the only obstacle to peace is the building of new settlements? Talk about oversimplification. The reality is that there was an Israeli initiative which included a moratorium on new settlements that lasted 18 months and the palestinians did nothing about negotiations until about a month beforehand then wanted the moratorium extended.

    I't's a misquote. I think it was ben Gurion who said " the Arabs never miss a chance to miss a chance ". True enough really. Just when pragmatic politics looks like paying off, thier religion kicks in and off we go again.

    No doubt who is interested in peace. Will the palestinian side follow suit? And pigs might fly I suppose
    think you forgot to mention that the Israelis wont sign up without pre conditions.So they are not excepting the present quartet peace plan, they are refusing to adhere to it in its present form.

    So you should correct your post to highlight this.

    Israel wants peace alright except you spelt it wrong, Israel wants a PIECE Palestine, a Piece of Lebanon and a piece of Syria.

    That's the Only Piece israel want.

    Well she seems to be in agreement with the rest of the EU and the Quartet........and so is Israel. Not so much the Palestinians though. Israel has no desire to rule over the Palestinians. Time after time, Israel has stated its desire to see two states
