There is such a thing as being too respectful of government policies y'know...

    Stomach-churning or what?
Not realy, they were told that was the respectful thing to do and pre war it may have seemed so. By chance do you have any other photos this one has been worn to the bone. Do you know how many of the men you are casting aspersions on served against the Nazis in the war? Any killed, injured. I presume you have done some research on the men you are pretending to misunderstand.

I literally cannot understand the point you are making here.

Are you equating the removal of alcohol at a checkpoint to the prevention of flow of essential goods imposed by Israel into Gaza?

Wouldn't it benefit the convoy if they could arrange a thorough search of their boats before departing their various ports and then arrange for a European navy to escort them to the disputed area to prove nothing else has been smuggled on. If they can agree a cargo with Israel that will benefit people but not endanger civilians across the border they may get their aid through.
I know Israel may not feel confident with this, but given that Egypt AFAIK is lifting its border it may be a good time to revise restrictions.
Also will the leaders of the convoy agree to let Israeli inspectors on board, possibly with red cross/crescent escorts to keep everyone fair? They would all have to guarantee each overs safety obviously.
Wishful thinking of course but if the same approach as last time is taken the same result may ensue and nobody gets Aid and everyone loses.
Thoroughly sensible comment. Not sure the convoy is really about the aid, though. If it was, I think they'd be either taking your good advice, or routing the aid through Egypt.
As it stands, the 'activists' are just that - activists, attempting to provoke violence to make their cause seem just. They've made no secret of this if you read what they say, and those who think it's all about feeding the poor little Gazan orphans are just suckers, sadly.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least now that Netanyahu was challenged on his claim that Israel was willing to talk on a two-state solution. When the US called him on that some weeks ago suddenly Netanyahu no longer wanted anything to do with a two-state solution.

That was the opening move showing Israel up to being the liar it is in the United States.

It won't be long before Israel realises it needs to be at a negotiating table when US money starts drying up and the writing on the wall comes a little more into focus. Its alright being the hard man of Africa or the Middle East for the broederbond or the zionists as long as the dollar is behind them.

When the dollar is gone who are you going to call? Ghostbusters?

    +1.
I'm continually surprised to learn how many otherwise sensible people throughout the 20s and 30s thought fascism/Nazism was brilliant.

Sadly on both sides this apears about politics, I will be persuaded otherwise when one or the other comes up with a better solution than just butting heads and repeating history.

Blind Paddy and his dog know that the Rachel Corrie was not carrying essential supplies, Paul Murphy MEP admitted as much in an interview recently.

By the way - what ever happened to that particular boat - did it go back to Kuala Lumpur with most of the other passengers, to report back to Mahathir.

You are well aware of the point I was making about those English internationals giving the nazi salute in the 30s.

They were sportsmen too- who were told that it was the 'respectful' thing to do. They were wrong. And that photo stands as a good reminder to think for yourself.

Would it be possible for you to stop communicating obtusely, and simply explain your point about the Whiskey, please?
