Oh dear see what you have done? Only gone and bought more magic beans. Please explain how the views of a few Arab dictators are representative of the entire Arab world? Remember what I said about doing your own research ? Have you ever heard of The Brookings Institute?well unfortunately for you and your magic beans/cables, they carry out proper research, and unfortunately for you 88% of those polled said Israel was the biggest threat in the region, have a little read and tell the rest of us what percentage view Iran as the major threat, oh and pay particular attention to the percentage of those who support Iran being a nuclear power. Link below, have a wee read and give the rest of us a laugh

Ah yes.....the Brookings Institute, the outfit that reckons that once an Israeli/Palestine settlement is in place that Al Qaeda will go away. Dream on sonny. As for those Arab dictators .........well isn't that what Arabs do ?

Whats wrong Trampas, annoyed your beloved magic beans have been shown to be the bollox they are. Yeah, your mentality is patently clear, when you think you can claim 'the West and the Arab world were in agreement on something' based upon the witterings of a few arab dictators. Unfortunately, your idiotic witterings have been undone again. Unless of course you have some weird way of breaking down percentages were 10% is actually a bigger percentage than 88%

Well Bin-Laden is on record as stating that that is one of his major bugbears, his mother also admitted this. Furthermore i suggest you read up on Rami Khouri's writings of how to prevent the arab basement from getting volunteers from the arab street. Its been popularized by the coloumnist Thomas Friedman, of the New York Times. Remember what i said about doing your own research

The only bollox around here is clear for all to see. It would take more than magic mushrooms to get any sense out of your slippery prose. As for those percentages... well I have no idea what you are talking about and care less.

Trampas, we'll let others decide whose talking bollox (most likely the guy who ignores proper polled research and instead takes the word of some Arab leaders to be representative of the entire arab world...but no matter). And its no surprise you could care less. i realise having your magic beans crushed under foot must be hard but then i don't really like to open wide for the same guys who sold you the Iraq WMD's Try and do your own reading, its quite liberating to realise how much ************************************************ is spread by so called civilized govts You should try it sometime !

Israel is merely item 1 on a very long list of "grievances". To believe that the "solution" of the Plaestine/Israel conflict will lead to OBL and his ilk hanging up the AK is naive and dangerous. It ascribes rationality to a death cult that is the apotheoisis of irrationality.

But maybe that's not what you're saying. It's a little hard to tell.

If its a death cult you're after read some of the statements from the Christian zionist/dispensationalist whackjobs in the US, who believe they can advance armaggedon by bringing war to the middle east. Whats naive and dangerous is to think its pointless to try and sort out the I/P conflict because of AQ, you get rid of the perfectly understandable grievances of the young impressionable men who then are not fertile for recrutiment by those in the basement, the snakes who don't have the balls to go for their own 72 virgins. I suggest you read up on the Khouri/Freidman analysis.
