    Bush Impeachment!

    http://blog.washingtonpost.com/sleuth/2 ... to_be.html

This is among the comments to the above Washington Post article:

    http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/downl ... ticles.pdf

Both Cheney and Bush have misled and betrayed our country, our democracy and our TRUST. They have commited high crimes and misdemeanors, which can be read HERE: http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/downl ... ticles.pdf

The momentum for impeachment is growing every day. This online petition has already gathered nearly 90,000 signatures of THE PEOPLE: http://www.democrats.com/peoplesemailnetwork/88?ad=d0

We are in the midst of a Constitutional crises, and guess what? Our government isn't going to fix things unless WE THE PEOPLE stand up and make a big stink about it. This is a non-partisan issue. Bush and Cheney have betrayed their own party as well. They are not true to democracy; they are traitors and enemies of democracy and if they are not stopped, we are going to lose our country, and our world, to corporate power.

The demand for impeachment is a cry from the American People for the protection of DEMOCRACY as we have known it! Whether they are impeached, or not, at least we the people are starting to make noise about the injustice happening RIGHT NOW to America the Beautiful!!!

While I dislike Bush and his cronies intensely, American citizens did have the chance to remove him from office at the last presidential election when all the revelations about Iraq were well known and had been rehearsed time after time in their media and they chose in their wisdom or stupidity to reelect him again. I think they'll have to live with that decision until 2008 when hopefully they'll chose to go in a different direction politically.
    Average expenses per TD in 2011:- FG €36,412, Lab €28,756, FF €45,219, SF €44,413, SP €23,654, PBP €31,866, WUAG €49,911, IND €37,805, CC €13,112.

how will anybody know what direction they'll choose as long as e-voting machines are being widely used?

Cheney would not run for re-election even if he did ascend to the presidency. Bar that, he would not even get the nomination in the primaries (yes, that is possible). IMO i'd rather see cheney impeached. Bush is just a pawn, or least he does a good job of acting like one

Totally concur. They knew full well what would happen in a Bush 2nd term - his moron should never have been elected - but that the American electorate for you - they are now simply reaping what they sowed when they re-elected him - they have nobody to blame but themselves

In fairness to the americans in 2004 the choice was between a Turd sandwich and a giant Douch. A friend put it best when he said at least they had a bush and not a Hitler. since the declaration of Independance was signed it has been obvious that the office would be held by men of poor virtue and low ability. the primary system almost ensures it. on January 20th 2009 all i will say is at least it could have been worse.
