Considering in this country the fianna fail nominee to the supreme court ruled the other week that a man who had fathered 2 kids be allowed to change his birth-cert to show he is now a lady, you would wonder where the freakshow is occuring. I wonder if "Lydia" Foy tricked into bed one of the israel haters on this thread would we see the same attitude towards sex by deception.

Actually this wouldn't be rape under English common law. Deception as to actual identity (Sabbar Kashur pretends to be Benjamin Goldstein, the victim's Jewish boyfriend), yes. Deception as to a personal characteristic or quality (Arab man pretends to be Jewish), no.

Now if you know of similar claims by non-jewish men or women which were ignored by the Israeli authorities then you've got a claim for racism. Right now you've just got "Man convicted of committing a crime in a country."

It's a crime for women to be in the company of unrelated men in Saudi Arabia. It's a crime to have homosexual sex in lots of countries. You see threads on such subjects all the time: just because a law exists does not mean people elsewhere are not allowed to have an opinion on it. So your 'picking on Israel' line is just so much tired apologist nonsense, as is your (unproven) claim that someone could have been prosecuted for similar 'crimes' in lots of countries, including hte UK and US.
