I didn't see it, but it was discussed on a Russian politics mailing list I subscribe to, and the consensus was that it was another example of Channel 4's unfortunate recent trend of prioritising sensationalism over accuracy.

I've yet to see any mainstream western media outlet referring to Berezovsky's link to the Bush clan.

    What are you on about?

Denial of what facts? The fact that nowhere other than the Guardian piece is there a mention of violence? The fact that you sensationalized the title of the thread? Which one of these facts is being denied?

this is only the second time you need to be corrected on that

    Paragraph straight underneath his photograph:

The Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky has told the Guardian he is plotting the violent overthrow of President Putin from his base in Britain after forging close contacts with members of Russia's ruling elite.
at this point I think you owe an apology!

Apologise? What is wrong with you? Can you not read?
I said any piece other than the Guardian one........ for example this Forbes piece which I linked earlier in the thread: http://www.forbes.com/business/feeds/af ... 09977.html

'Elections are not a viable means of ensuring democratic change in Russia. Therefore I do support using other methods to push for a change back towards democracy,' he said.

'However, I wish to make very clear that all of these methods would be bloodless ... I do support direct action. I do not advocate or support violence.'
So who got an E in their reading comprehension?
