I do not think many would describe the UAF as being against using violence, they have consistently shown a willingness to resort to it. The SWP get a nice platform and publicity, while the Conservatives and Labour have a rent a mob, to cow those who threaten their electoral base. The middle class get to chuck a few bottles at the yoikes and feel like their young Ché's. Revolution as a career choice for the bosses of the UAF, and as a life style choice for their members on the ground.

It seems that there were neary 2000 EDL members. That is pretty significant compared to their early marches. They seem to be growing substantially.
