We're still being brain-washed with pro-war propaganda. Sky News have taken to running story after story on "our boys" in Iraq, and "our boys" in Af-Pak. But don't worry you little heads because we can always:

Did you not know we were part of the Coalition of the Willing? Bertie never told us why we were willing, mind you. A possible consequence may be the fact that alleged plots against cartoonists, are now hatched here.

You should listen to my bias, not the other side’s bias.

The British people have always more or less accepted that this is how the world is run, there is a show democracy (Punch and Judy) and then there is the parallel government. Many people find it very difficult to articulate exactly what this parallel government is, or what it implies for freedom/equality, but the term 'establishment' carries meaning for a lot of us... the 'Anglo-american establishment' (cf. Carroll Quigley). These 'governors' only care about money and power (greed, selfishness, and self-promotion). They do not give a flying fvck (one way or the other) about equality, human rights, the polar bears, or anything. They play these issues, move them around the 'grand chessboard' (cf. Zbigniew Brzezinski), but a world that is carefully shaped and guided by elitists is only good for themselves, and to varying lesser degrees, for those who inhabit the hierarchy that comprises the 'establishment'.

IMO one of the most obvious elite manipulators is Rupert Murdoch.

Murdch's control of media in the US, Britain and elsewhere is now huge and of course he was a big backer of Blair. He owns the Weekly Standard, for which many neo-cons write.

In Britain David Cameron seems to be the new chosen puppet.

In 2008 during the republican primaries one fact remarked on was the policy of Fox News of ignoring Ron Paul in order to try and minimise his support. The career of Sarah Palin is promoted big-time by Fox News in contrast.

+1 It is the elites control of virtually all the major world media that is poisoning societies around the world to the extent that they keep voting these scumbags into power time and time again - the parallells with the O'Reilly Press, RTE and the FF mafia on a smaller scale are stark

FF and the O'Reilly press are small beer but it's the same principle.

Interesting article about David Cameron flying to visit Murdoch on his yacht in Corfu in 2008. Later the Murdochs went on to visit their friends the Rothschilds who gave a dinner party in honor of Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of Rupert. Peter Mandelson was there also. The following might give a small hint, a clue, as to what is meant by the phrase 'parallel government':

    Benefits of Corporate Membership

"One private briefing by a CFR fellow tailored to the company's needs," etc.
    President's Circle ($60,000)
"Invitations for senior executives to attend two to three small, private events with world leaders," etc.
    Founders ($100,000)
"One private briefing by CFR's president tailored to the company's needs," etc.

Yeah - funny how the 'elite' control the entire world - media, industry, politics, etc.
Because when people get to positions of power - they are described as 'elite'
    Genius isnt it?
