    I was talking to KerryNorth...

But ATM it's not a work to rule either seeing as they're refusing to deal with the public.

Can the state do an Aer Lingus and fire them all and get them to re-apply for their jobs?

There's more to service delivery than actually delivering the service?

What they doing, brainstorming on the strategic implications of the internet for service delivery?

Or planning their next denial of service to the public?

Yes, because I haven't heard otherwise. If they are so unhappy let them come out and say it and tell their unions to stop their action.

I suppose you think all bank staff go home at four once the front doors are closed.

I suppose you think all bank staff do is accept applications for new accounts and hand out shiny new cheque books and ATM cards.

How come passports are taking twice as long to issue, if it is just a work to rule?
This is what passport express are saying now.
I like the idea of sacking them.
It is they and their leaders that have driven a wedge between themselves and ordinary decent citizens. These pampered louts think they are better than everyone else who works outside the public service.
Their union rep was on the radio a few minutes ago giving out about the way they had been shown the door at budget time. Just why do these PS unions think they are so special?
Are they just thick? The Finance Bill has been voted on by the Dáil.
Is it not clear that their pay adjustments are not going to be restored by now?

By pay "adjustments" I suppose you mean pay cuts.

    Pay was cut by 14%.

Counter time was only cut by 10%.

That's a real productivity increase, you should be happy for the level of "reform" that you're getting.

    Actually, no, I don't.

Public sector Pension money is going to the banks, not the other way around.
