    According to the CPSU website the Clerical Officer post 95 grade goes from circa €24k to €39558 - although I think you can take the 5% off those figures. I also see that in the North it goes from £14890-£17099, that is an upto 80% higher pay in the Republic at current exchange rates.

    Well then we should benchmark against either Northern Ireland rates or Spanish rates. Leave the choice up to the public servants.

    And yes I also believe the cost of living should come down also

    It is being discussed on RTÉ TV right now with Kenny. Maybe they can be shamed into doing their job, but I doubt it.
