Libya's Gaddafi urges 'holy war' against Switzerland

Gaddafi has called for a "Holy War" against Switzerland. The man is completely mad. He has also called for a boycott of Swiss goods because the Swiss do not want minarets in their country. There are lunatics out there who could carry out his call. Interesting times we live in indeed.

It's fairly clear from his words that the 'war' he speaks of is an economic one, so no need to panic just yet. Also, it's clear as day that this is a response to Switzerland's recent 'black listing' of his family, so there's method to Ghadafi's 'madness'.

If he were so worried about the Swiss minaret ban, he would have spoken out about it when the ban was voted for about two months ago. This is just a diplomatic spat with some colourful language thrown in.

To quote Myles na gCopaleen's great character "The Brother":
"The Swiss are thinking of having a go at the French. Oh there's bad blood there. Always was."

Ok so it was the drunken ramblings of a man at a bus stop, but at least he had the excuse of being drunk. And fictional.
    Cheers now, here's me bus.

Son just got a bit confused as it is acceptable to beat your servants half to death in Libya.

Those crazy swiss aren't cool with it though.

And had the nerve to arrest him over hit.

A Swiss businessman has been arrested in Lybia in response after trying to hide out in the Swiss embassy for ages.

Gaddafi has lost the plot. There will be plenty of other windmills for the windbag to tilt at, but Gadaffi calling for any cause to be holy is a bit rich coming from a man who has poured so much energy into crushing Islamists in Lybia.

    He says:
"Let us wage jihad against Switzerland, Zionism and foreign aggression," he said.
... while concluding lucrative trade deals with foreigners, his sons splash the countries treasury on shopping sprees in London and he maintians Libya under the yoke of oppression.

The EU has chosen to do business with this loon, the EU does not really have a choice. But we should not pay too much attention to the ramblings of a man whose regular rhetorical flourishes are aimed at an audiance who have his security services guns pointed at their backs.

I mean is he actually sane? This comment is dizzying in its stupidity:
"Any Muslim in any part of the world who works with Switzerland is an apostate, is against Muhammad, God and the Koran."
So Gadaffi, a man with so much Muslim blood on his hands and who as I have said crushes islamists in Lybia passes judgement on Muslim? Plainly ridiculas.

The ramblings of the deluded comic buffoon are almost as amusing as some of the Islam apologists on here...
