    Geert Wilders

Geert Wilders head of the Dutch PVV party is on trial in the Netherlands. Here is his blog Weblog Geertwilders - Home where you can donate. This trial is about more than Wilders it is about freedom of speech and the kowtowing of the European liberal elite to Islamism. Needless Wilders is dismissed as "far right" (he isn't) by the mainstream media and this trial has been ignored.

It's ridiculous. Why are we supposed to be sensitive to muslims? say what you want about any group, that is what freedom of speech is all about. That Danish cartoon sketch showed up the nutter wing of Islam for what they are - lets not let Europe fall back to the dark ages again.

He has a perfect right to say what he likes, but I'll draw the line at donating money to a man advocates political policy based on ethnicity.

And something tells me you weren't championing free speech when Islam4Uk were banned in the UK a couple of weeks back.

No. They were championing an odious, inflexible system of politics based on prejudice and discrimination.

It is simple - all groups should be allowed say what they want.

Within the law. Wilders is being challenged on that, we'll see if he wins.

Geert is defending the right to free speech, and also the right of nation to define itself by its own terms, to preserve and protect its own culture, and to be protected and respected within their own nation. Perfectly reasonable, groups have been doing it since society began. People are entitled to feel that their culture and traditions are of a worth, at the very least in their own country.

I watched his Movie "Fitna" some time ago and like the vast majority of people am indifferent to it's content, it is a cheap shot to incite hatred and does not even succeed in doing that.

Anyone who sends money to this nut-case needs their head examined.
