Sever diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia ?

Saudi Arabia hanged and then crucified four Sri Lankan expats convicted of robbery and put their mutilated bodies in public display, according to the Sri Lanka Foreign Ministry.

Human Rights groups have condemned the action by Saudi Authorities for executing without prior notification the men who were originally only sentenced to imprisonment.

Amnesty International alleged that the trial did not meet minimum international standards of justice.

OK China executes people without due process, the US executes etc but the brutality of Saudi Arabia seems uterly inhuman. We wouldn't have had realtions with the Taleban so why the Saudis ? It might be called "gesture" foreign policy but how further than this would Saudi have to go before we decided that they weren't palatable ?

The Saudi junta has never been palatable. I don't expect our cowardly politicians to make any statements like this though.
