    he's been in power long enough not to always need the services of a protocol advisor. Don't stare at Mrs Obama's crotch would suffice...

    That's where you're wrong on fact.
    Berlusconi was not in power when the original treaty which we effectively vote on this Friday was proposed. He was in power when Nice was negotiated and part of the problem with the European Union is that Nice was blatantly pro- business. Voting No on Friday means Berlusconi keeps his say so over us!
    Vote Yes agaisnt Slimy Silvio
    Lisbon gives the EU institutions more power over you. Berlusconi is in the European Council. His henchmen and favoured ladies are in the Council of Ministers and in the EP.

    Not rocket science.

    OK, he has riches beyond compare, TV channels, newspapers, a football team, multiple palatial homes, a government, babes on tap - but what Silvio really wants is a little love from the world's media.

    Fortunately he can dig into the taxpayers' pockets to help out with this.
