Eoghan Harris: Cowen has Courage, but "vote Fine Gael if you want change" !

Just don't vote Labour, or the lefties. Well, maybe not. Possibly...

It seems Cowen could be agreat Taoiseach, but so could Enda!

Brian Cowen has the character to be a great Taoiseach. So has Enda Kenny who has given Fine Gael its finest hour. Accordingly, at the next General Election, voters should firmly plump either for Fianna Fail or Fine Gael, with the Greens as third choice -- if they come through without wobbling...

If you want a change at the next General Election, vote for Enda Kenny and Fine Gael. But don't waste votes on Labour and other lefties who will not act with good authority. Not unless they give you actual numbers in advance.
That's it so. Fine Gael may as well wind up as a party, now they've been gve the kiss of death...

    What's he up to?

We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?

I thought Harris was FF, admired Dev and all that. You sure this is exactly what he said?

Hard to know what to make of it, really. I thought today's Sindo was actually pretty alright. And Enda deserves the full glare of the commentariat spotlight as leader of the largest political party in the country. Was it Harris who referred to his speaking style as "churchyard"?

He said that Cowen (and Lenihan and Gormley) "took Courageous decisions".

By going on saying that Cowen, in the job for over a year, "has the character to be a great Taoiseach...", the implication can only be that he isn't. (D'uh!)

I think that's what they call "damning with faint praise"? But then again, this Eoghan Harris we're on about...
