Charlie Flanagan not against government with Sinn Féin

Another top Fine Gaeler has joined Frank Flannery and said SF are ok:

    RTE
Fine Gael's Justice Spokesman has said that he personally would not have a difficulty forming a government with Sinn Féin if the party had policies that would not cause problems.
Charlie Flanagan told RTÉ's The Week in Politics programme
This means FG are now earnestly looking to form a government without Labour.

As we saw with the Greens, when it comes to mercs and percs, if the numbers add up then they will go for it.

It took a full week for anyone to put reason on it, although I did not think Charlie would be the man to say it,of coarse it is all about the numbers after the next election.I am sure when it comes around in 3 years time FG frontbenchers will not be too anxious to give half the cabinet posts to Labour. Now was Flannery on a solo run.

Very misleading. Charlie said that unless there was a huge change in SF policy....ie stop condoning punishment beatings.

Personally, I would vote for FF if I agreed with their policies and if the queen had ba.. she'd be king.

Looks like George Lee will be getting elevated to the Front Bench earlier than expected.

I know Charlie, and as heirs to the Blueshirts go, he's an all-round decent and fair-minded man.

I sometimes wonder what he's doing in a party like that.
