It was the criminal activity, not their republicanism per se. After all, Fine Gael is a republican party too, so to suggest they wouldn't do business with republicans because of their republicanism would be a bit daft.
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

That might be what he was thinking but it's not what he said. He never mentioned the word criminal and at 55 seconds in he clearly says "Activities related to republicanism." Is it now your position that Kenny is 'a bit daft?'

Hopefully FG will deal with whatever issues they have with past history if not they have little chance of dealing with the future of this country

So much for FG and the democratic process, SF are a democratically elected party and you may not like their past or their present policies but they represent 8% of the people .

I argued that point with a former Minister of justice, who was no friend of S,F,he did agree with me under a a bit of pressure that S,F TDs should be entitled to the same respect as anyone else, ,of coarse you will have people like SMP who will always will have to kick S,F
as they pass by,maybe they are not ready yet, Kenny may agree with them as when he said on the LLS activities related to republicanism, Can we take it so that there will be a very quiet centenary for P Pearse if Kenny is in power

That really was a great interview by Tubbs, gave a hint at potential he seems to have stopped exploring.

34% wasn't it? I think it was. More support than FF and Greens combined.
Yes, I'm nearly certain they were the numbers in the poll today.

I mention it, because its important to remember the fundamentals, other fundamentals include FF losing 80 local seats, and their Dublin MEP.

Sometimes, these things need to be pointed out in threads like this.
