Unfortunately there's no reference to adoption or children's rights. There are children - especially of lesbian couples - who need the reassurance that if one of their parents dies, the other hs legal responsibility.

    Um, why lesbians especially?
The standard of excellence is an infinite suggestiveness, naturalism is the one thing to be condemned.

As it is there are a lot of lesbian couples who get pregnant via artificial insemination. Gay men are in a more difficult situation in that they cannot get pregnant...

It's not that specific about adoption. The only reference I could spot was :

"The rights of married couples are not lessened in any way. Marriage
will continue to provide rights regarding children that Civil
    Partnership does not provide."

But adoption does not require marriage does it? I think the two issues are somewhat tangential.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.
