This thread is totally hypocritical,,,,, 95 % of P.ie's scripts are copied and pasted ..... anyone looking to have a good look at P.ie's source code should click > view then click source .....

I don't have the time for a good rummage now, but if it makes the juvenile behavior/unsubstantiated allegations of this site's owner less likely in the future I will make time.

One other VERY important point is ... you were looking at this site as it was being developed ..... It should not have been ''live'' obviously ,,,,, but some developers test in this way .......

I think you need to understand that this website was not hosted by FG and was not an official site. In view of that nothing should have been claimed or threatened with copyright theft.

if the site being looked at was an interim beta site or something to demonstrate what the end product might look like then there is nothing wrong with that. That the sites look similar as an end result is not a problem.

I looked at the source code, the FG effort was very different to the bbc, Some of the layout was similar, but lots of sites are similar. The post on getafreelance was just pure daft, done by a muppet.

Hang on if the original source code had a great big copyright of X message in it and it was used as a straight cut and paste job then yes it does prove theft. If it didn't and perhaps was in fact say open source code then provided the site was coded in accordance with the associated license then 'no' nothing untoward has happened. Of course, if the site being looked at was an interim beta site or something to demonstrate what the end product might look like then there is nothing wrong with that. That the sites look similar as an end result is not a problem.
