    @FineGaelNews Status Update Twijects

Those of you subscribed to @FineGaelNews may have noticed a lack of official PR’s and news items in the feed. This is mainly because since the launch of the new Fine Gael sit there has been no RSS feed to feed into it!
This is quite annoying for me as getting the PR’s and Policys out there was one of the reasons I created the account.

what all those rss logos on the www.finegael.org - home site for i wonder?
What does the Irish President spend their time doing. Work in progress

Fine Gael got themselves a new logo a few weeks ago, and a new website was due to launch at the same time, however, it's been delayed.

However, if you go check out www.finegael.org - home you'll see what appears to be a blatant copy of the BBC - Homepage website with a Fine Gael logo thrown in.

    Fine Gael website

Credit to Steph for the screengrabs and rather excellent (and nerdy) analysis of how identical the website code is, including a blog comment by a designer of the BBC site, saying the work is theirs, and that their site was designed in-house..

Check the whois information for finegael.org- the site is registered to a gentleman by the name of Vincent Gribbin, who is responsible for the Fine Gael website.

You're some tool, aren't you. Since you became a moderator you've created obscene threads, titled a thread with an untrue smear that you were forced to retract, issued "infractions" that your fellow moderators agreed were pathetic and based on your prejudices rather than the site rules, caused the site to be swamped with complaints from posters about your "moderation", and now you're regurgitating a year-old thread in order to make a stupid, idiotic "point".

    What a loser you are.

I wasn't forced to retract, nor did I retract any thread title

Nor have I issued any illegitimate infractions, not have other moderators said they were pathetic

Nor is the site swamped with complaints about my moderation

Now kindly quit lying, and address the substantial thread topic, or find some other thread to moan on.

The thread title was changed, as it was untrue, defamatory, and legally actionable.

Yes you have, and yes they have.

Nor is the site swamped with complaints about my moderation
    Oh yes.

    Now kindly quit lying
I haven't lied, as well you know, so you'll withdraw that.

and address the substantial thread topic, or find some other thread to moan on.
Firstly, there's no "substantial thread topic". Secondly, I won't be told what threads to post on by anyone - least of all someone like you.

You are lying here, and have made a legally problematic assertion, and are attempting to conflate my status as moderator with poster - in order to prevent me posting on certain topics

I am referring this matter to Dave, who will be here in the morning, to see what he wants to do with you

And I would suggest that you/other posters, confine yourself to the substantive topic of this thread

Yeah fire away, do whatever you like. Typical that you're claiming something that didn't happen, though, seeing as no-one is saying you shouldn't be allowed post on any topics. As for "legally problematic assertions", don't make me laugh - given that your thread title was changed as it was legally actionable.

And once again, there is no "substantive topic" to this thread, and seeing as I don't accept any moderation from you, then I've no intention of following your "suggestion". You're a biased moderator, who is incapable of putting his political and personal prejudices to one side when moderating. Take that to Dave, its time he knew anyway.
