As a new survey shows that 3,300 more cars are coming into Dublin city centre than four years ago, Fine Gael Seanad Transport Spokesman and Dublin Central candidate Senator Paschal Donohoe has put forward simple but effective proposals to improve public transport in the city.

who can blame Ryan, that's politics,me thinks this has more to do with publicity on account of the bye election than anything else.
That's going to be difficult, given that Donohoe hasn't actually proposed anything.
God forbid that he'd come up with anything specific like a Bus Gate on College Green, which coincidently, is opposed by FG members of DCC.
Is that the same Bus Gate that has been roundly criticised as crazy?
Is this the same Senator Paschal Donohoe of the same Fine Gael party who have supported the construction of the M3, which will deliver even more cars into Dublin City Centre?
Eh, it's the same Paschal Donohoe who uses public transport!
