    Lucinda is generating noise in an effort to get on the front bench. somehow i don't think she'll spend the next few years sulking on the backbenches a la John Deasy.

    I was suggesting that this action would have been counter-productive in my view and I was doubtful that she would have taken it, despite the OP's (albeit unsubstantiated) assertion...

    The original comment was that he was being brought back from the dead (polically). Multiquoting doesn't work for me.

    He should leave her on the backbenches, theirs enough young McDowells around and we saw what happened him, they don't last too long.
