Cheese and Wine-very nice. And they say there's no culture in Cork!

It should be a good night though.

Is he speaking about anything in particular, or is it just the usual old guff like 'hope'?

Well the audience will be a bunch of students, so I'd say that hope won't quite cut it.

Due to a specific interest in the new departure in terms of Irish language and reform of the educational system, I hope that that will be brought up. Its sure to stir the pot abit. The aims of the party in the interm i'm sure will be mentioned along with the compulsory critic of the government, Sinn Féin/not IRA, and Mary Harney's health system.

Questions are always predictable. The usual pointedness towards the Blue/Pink coalition, his opinions on PPars, the program for government etc.

He might do the JFK impressions aswell if asked for that well needed 'comic relief' at the end.

Id rather he didnt do the JFK-JFK was an over-rated and under-achieving president-hopefully something Kenny if Taoiseach will not aspire to be

    I despise that JFK impression!

Leave impersonations to the PROs like Gift Grub, Rory Bremner and Alaistar McGowan.

No thats a big event usually the high point of the term for any college branch, besta luck to ya lads, I know last eyar it was a sell out and then some so I hope yoiu've booked a bigger lecture theatre, sure half the audience will be candidates for the Exec

What is the state of politics down in UCC these days.
It was always a bit of a Fine Gael haunt in my day, but the others were fairly active too.

Went on to study in Dublin after, but I have to say the politics always seemed mre in your face in Cork
