Fine Gael defeats the government in the seanad

Fine Gael has today defeated the government in a vote in the seanad 19-18. The vote was in relation to the charities bill currently being put through the houses. The two green seantors 'misjudged' their lunch and were absent as were up to ten Fianna Fail senators. This is an extreemly embarrasing situation for the Fianna Fail whip who will undoubetedly loose his position. If replicated in the Dail it would be the collapse of the government.

Just another great day for Fine Gael and an embarassing one for the Fianna 'Failures'
