actually quick question back to u, how do u think all of that is anti working class! we are making everyday living more affordable for the working class and ensuring they have jobs!
I don't think you've intrepreted that correctly. I'm not being patroning but I don't think there is any point in me explaining the role of the capitalist state in providing utilities and infrastructure.

We? Who is we? Are you the capitalist state? Fine Gael are not the capitalist state either. The state is more than a pathetic party of charlatons that the media completely over states the importance of despite only being in government 3 years out of the last 20 or so. And even in government a political party cannot change the state.

In a time of bust in the cyclical nature of capitalism, the state (which is much more than the parties in gvt) will intervene to preserve the profits of businesses. One way to do this is by lowering the cost of their utilities and building them infrastructure. The vast majority of infrastructure built by the state is for the benifit of corporations and business, not ordinary people. Of course you can make the argument that what is good for business can sometimes be good for workers. It's the classic argument of the rich- keep taxes on us low and the benifits will be passed on to the working class. However this is usually not the case and only results in even greater inequality in society.

FG are a pro-rich party. Everything they suggest is geared towards preserving the profits of the rich whether it be keeping taxes low on corporations and the millionaires, freezing wages, providing business with cheaper utilities or getting rid of labour law or "anti-employer" legislation as Dr. Leo so hilariously describes it.

You know their was a time when trade unionists actually knew the purpose of trade unions. Well perhaps I should judge all of them by you, you are probably just out of school and the state has filled your head with the nonsense that it has everyone's interests at heart.

Whites might be a cursed Hotel for political parties.

The PDs went their in '07. Lost 3/4 of their seats.

Labour went in '08, went down to 9% in the polls, level with the Shinners.

Is that where FG want to be going before an election?
Liquidate labour, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate.
