    Is Ciaran Cannon welcome........

Are F.G in Galway East serious about inviting Ciaran Cannon into their ranks. It is dabateable whether this guy has anything to offer. By all accounts he comes from FF stock. Reports in the county suggest that he was at best an average performer at council level. What has this guy to offer.?

If he applies to join & is willing to take the party whip plus adhere to the party's constitution then I'd say he will be welcome. He'd struggle to get on a future ticket but he seemed a decent enough sod even if he was pretty anonymous

Then he should fit right in in FG, the whole blooddy front bench is "pretty anonymous", well apart from Simon Coveney, he's just "pretty vacant".
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

Harney to be poached by FF

Ugly and venomous like a toad, but yet wears a precious jewel in his head. Batt O'Keeffe can't work that one out.

This is a country where Mary Coughlan is the Tanaiste !!!!

Thats where the bar has been set.

Not too sure about Cannons ability but Martin Cullen has been a minister for years so anythings possible.

What criteria defines a "good performer" at council level? How many developers dicks you can take up your ass at the same time?

Says the cheerleader-in-chief for the PDs....

With your history of backing the wrong horses, I'd be willing to bet good that Simon Coveney will be Taoiseach some day

Fine Gael in Galway east will never have Cannon. Why? Because he lives in Galway West.
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.
