Which is why I think Fine Gael should now make the brave move of announcing they will not coalesce with Labour after the next election as their priority is to reform the public sector.

Unless FF meltdown and FG get up 76 odd seats which is very unlikely - this would force FF into coalition with Labour, thereby leading to FG winning the election after.

It would be a brave move - but it might just work.

FG need to pray FF stay in government for another 18 months, take the pain for the mess they made (and I agree with the first poster, they were the prudent ones) and then be a GE. Who know what'll happen in 3 years time.

There are still some people who drank the Thatcherite Kool Aid that think that making a not-for-profit bus system into a for-profit transport system will make life better for Joe & Josephine Public.

All that privatisation nonsense does is raise prices, reduce service, and line the pockets of the Hedge Funds who provide the debt to set up the private service.

The PDs are gone. The Hedge Funds are gone. The Thatcherite scam is falling down on its ar$e, and taking everything else with it.

When you were in coalition with FF on local councils you didn't/don't have the same dodgy dealings with builders/developers that they do? When you vote through exactly what they want?
Is there a comprehensive list of FG donors anywhere? (same for FF actually?)
