It would be a brave move - but it might just work.
Let me get this straight... you think FG should thorw the next election, with could be in 2012 with a view to 'maybe' winning the GE in 2017?? seriously???????

FG need to pray FF stay in government for another 18 months, take the pain for the mess they made (and I agree with the first poster, they were the prudent ones) and then be a GE. Who know what'll happen in 3 years time.

    No detail of course.

As far as RB is concerned, its just a matter of 'positive mental attitude'.
Waffle? Did he mention making public sector more competition? Bus privatisation? I read his leaflets, doesnt look like waffle to me.

Making it more competitive you mean? That's some real detail there!

Bus privatisation? Which buses? Privatisation is just passing on more costs to ordinary people.

There are still some people who drank the Thatcherite Kool Aid that think that making a not-for-profit bus system into a for-profit transport system will make life better for Joe & Josephine Public.

All that privatisation nonsense does is raise prices, reduce service, and line the pockets of the Hedge Funds who provide the debt to set up the private service.

The PDs are gone. The Hedge Funds are gone. The Thatcherite scam is falling down on its ar$e, and taking everything else with it.

But there are still some slow learners who want to do more of it!

Not the party of vested interests?

When you were in coalition with FF on local councils you didn't/don't have the same dodgy dealings with builders/developers that they do? When you vote through exactly what they want?
Is there a comprehensive list of FG donors anywhere? (same for FF actually?)
