    Are FG still Pro-NATO

Are Fine Gael still a pro-NATO party. You kept very quiet about this during the recent referendum campaign.

No, and we haven't been 'pro-NATO' either.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

FG have never been "pro-Nato". They are however in favour of Ireland taking part on the formation of the Common EU Defence policy, so we can influence what kind of terms it is formed on, and not whinge about it afterwards

I know the No side in the referendum told so many lies and made up so many claims you daren't ask them the time of day in case they made up the answer, but you really have got to get out of the habit of telling lies about anyone who dared to take a different viewpoint to you.

Who are you going to defend us against?

    Burundi?
    Bolivia?

Ireland has no enemies, except perhaps for internal traitors who wish to subvert Irish democracy.

Like FG and all the YES crowd!

    should we abolish our army?

As for these internal traitors, how are they going about subverting democracy?

    Re: Are FG still Pro-NATO

What the hell is wrong with being Pro-NATO anyway?
As to the enemies argument; we've had plenty of them.
We've never addressed (exc. Dev way back) the private
    armies knocking about the place.

No we should not abolish our army. Our army is in being to keep us free from internal traitors. They have done this job admirably since they defeated the anti treaty forces in 1923.
Criminals try and subvert democracy in this country by supporting an illegal army, murdering Gardai and defence forces personnel and robbing banks.
