Should Enda Kenny resign as leader of Fine Gael?

How can Enda Kenny's position of the leader of the main opposition party be secure with his obvious inadequacy in relation to gaining any positive movement in the departure of Mr. Ahern?

And after Mr Kenny has gotten his wish and Mr Ahern has announced his resignation, Mr Ahern, in some quarters, is still being painted as the working people's champion. While Mr Kenny has been described as rude, insulting, pulling hair and calling names, can Mr Kenny be seen as a viable alternative in the next election?

    Worst first post ever.
We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don't know we don't know.

"rude, insulting, pulling hair and calling names"

could actually be the worst first post on any site ever. It may even be the most useless use of bandwidth on the planet.

We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

Em.........Leaders are measured by elections and polls and nothing else. Enda presided over a massive gain in seats at the last GE, and at the Local elections before that. The patrty'sd poll ratings are as high as they have been for many years.
    End of story.

What the hell with all these threads on wanting Kenny to resign. I for one never heard of Kenny being described as rude, insulting, pulling hair and calling names. Ridiculous post.

Can people just act like adult here rather than the malformed teenages with swaety beads od perspiration on their foreheads waiting for that "reply to post" e-mail.

To answer the question. Yes, I think Enda Kenny has performed very badly over the whole affair. This has been the most important political departure since that of Charles Haughey and where was Kenny to be seen?

He's a dummy who performs to script and once anything arises that's not on that script he has no cop on how to act. The question is, do we want such a person to run the government?
