Thankfully lads like Three Gaffs Adams and Slab Murphy have no interest in material trappings.

    Oh wait.

Thomas Murphy was never a member of Sinn Fein, and where's the proof Adams owns three homes ? Mind you FG looks after it's crony's well, plenty more of it from the queer, maybe he can get ' Rehab ' Flannery a wee job in some quango like Kenny did for his buddies ?

Standard blueshirt response when confronted with hard facts about Blueshirts wasting public money.

Attack the person who attacks the scandal.

And give an implied free pass to blueshirt waste.

I really don't think we care as a country about these people. Is it a burning issue to most people you know? In that sense,Varadkar is just a reflection of a population that don't give a fuk about anybody else other than themselves and their immediate families. I can't see a good ending, though.

Anyone who votes FG/FF because of lack of an alternative are as guilty for the disgraceful worsening crises as Kenny and Varadkar.
Vote for the Irish Tories if you want, or their Fianna Fail partners, but have the balls to do it without the baloney.

Should probably be subject to legal challenge. On a similar basis to the McKenna judgment.

Weaker grounds I know, but probably worth a shot.

There's something very sinister about a government so obsessed with it's own image rather than its success.

It seems highly inappropriate for a government to fund its own PR using tax payers money - actions speak louder than words, €5m would pay for 20 social homes...homes 20 familes would have forever as opposed to 5 years of feel-good sound bites that we'll forget when we walk past the next rough sleeper.

It is not proper to spend money on the image of the government as opposed to the image of the State.

It is spending the people's money to do this.
