    More fair and unbiased Moderation!

Can you point out one single thread I've ever started that sought to deliberately misrepresent the content of a newspaper article??

Tk does it all the time - and this goes unchecked. A prime example is the "FG flip-flop on ASBO" thread. Not only was this untrue, but the Moderators actually PROMOTED his misrepresentations by moving the thread to "The Wire" - a forum which (we're told) is for serious discussions on media reports etc.
Actually, I always give fair and unbiased moderation. Treat this goy for what he is, an arse-licking FF gob************************e with too much time on his hands and a grudge against FG. By censoring him, we are only giving the gob************************e ammunition to fire. As I say, ignore him and he'll melt or something.

As for the Newspaper article. Well the Phil Flynn story and the 'death threats' story or just two I seem to remember you blowing out of proportion and mis-representing for political purposes. Barry, don't challenge someone to find an instance of something, unless you are certain they can't.

the title of this is grossly misleading, and (on edit) TK's version of what the Tribune report says is grossly misleading
    Not comfortable with democracy?
Banned temporarily by politics.co.uk (ie this site) so as not to "offend" the Brits during Mrs. Windsor's visit.
Still censored because I cannot start a thread!

No - you don't see what I'm getting at.
My threads on Phil Flynn and the Rossport death threats quoted exactly the relevant newspaper reports. I wasn't pulling the stories out of the air

TK, on the other hand, doesn't quote articles, and seeks to misrepresent the content of them.

The Tribune article here outlines government plans to exclude TDs from their offices at election time. It says nothing about "unregulated Fine Gael printing presses" or any such thing.

on the ASBO thread: Jim O' Keeffe made a statement that the ASB debate should move its focus from ASBOs, and onto other measures in the FG proposals that were equally important.
TK on the other hand sought to misrepresent this as Fine Gael abandoning their ASBO stance.

And Moderators thought so much of this they moved it to "The Wire" section

Am I not entitled to give my analyses of a story, surely that’s better than posting articles verbatim like you do.

The “printing issue” was mentioned in the Tribune article and again by Durken this morning on Morning Ireland. They can dress it up all they like but the bottom line is the two printing presses in FG HQ are unregulated and FG want to keep it that way, Durken said he strongly objected to the establishment of a central printing department, even though it would cut costs for the tax payer… all the hype about being "locked out" of their offices is just window dressing.

Pray tell - what on earth does the "printing issue" have to do with the Kelly Case judgement?

    You're having a laugh....right?!

That is the CENTRAL POINT of this issue

The problem is that you give your analysis of the story in the title of the thread as well - you know, "Rainbow in tatters as....." etc etc ad nauseum. Thus the initial tone of the thread, the first bit people see, is your opinion, rather than a fact.

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

you can give your own analysis but you continuously misrepent facts to suit your own agenda - and you don't always link to the stories you refer to - the crap you come out with in order to supposedly make FG and Labour look bad is just that - crap - because while you may feel it is your analysis it is usually a complete twisting of facts which by the time you have hatcheted them are usually completely untrue

    Why?

(And can I make it clear that I am NOT attacking you personally! I'll save the bile for TK)

    Why?
Presumably for the reason he stated: i.e. there is already at least one thread covering the topic.
