    Lucinda Creighton's website hacked

and before anyone suggests it, it was not me.

Looks like Lucinda Creighton is using old blog software which has security issues. Looks like three posts have been injected into the site - rather generic ones at that.

Someone ring her and tell her? Thats just not cricket....although her writing style is really good, the content leaves something to desire

It doesn't really look like hacking to me, probably just somebody putting up test posts in the belief that nobody's looking.
Worth breaking my "no sig" rule for:

The fevered meanderings of Dave's Lucinda-fixated mind? She has too high a profile on this site. Now that the PDs are scattered to the four winds, FG need to do whatever it takes and beg old blood-and-guts McDowell to return, take the helm and drag the party out of the milk-and-water morass that has characterised the Kenny years.

The only problem with that theory would be that McDowells leadership of the PDs wasn't exactly a roaring success....

Much as I like old ironsides, I have to admit you've got a point: the public never warmed to him. Still, I think the troubles of the PDs predated McDowell's stewardship (and even Harney's cowardly scramble to exit as leader, in the knowledge that Bertiegate was bearing down on her party). The PDs would today be a force to be reckoned with, had they chosen Pat Cox (a real politician) as leader, rather than Harney. So on second thoughts, Fine Gael's call should now go out to another, more savvy, prince across the sea: the former President of the European Parliament.
