Just to make you feel a little worse:

A surprising lack of big names at the wedding. Damien English, Maurice Manning and Frankie Feighan hardly make for an illustrious celebrity wedding.

Enright has been one of the more disappointing FG front benchers, despite her potential. Hopefull she'll pick up, now that her nuptial planning is out of the way

While wishing the happy couple the best of luck one must ponder on how this affects Fine Gael? Senater McHugh is from Donegal and Olwyn represents Laois/Offally. Will one leave politics? How will they split their time between Dublin,Offally and Donegal?

More importantly, where will they live?
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.

They could become a pin-up couple for the thousands of couples in similar situations:
young married professionals, from far reaching areas, working in Dublin, facing ridiculous problems of commtuting.....

or they could become indicative of the absentee representatives that FG seem to put forward nowadays.

Elected to represent South Central Dubliners, but swanning around Brussels, or vice versa

But no need to be cynical on a happy day for them. Best of luck to the couple

Yes, best of luck to them.

Mind you, that they will probably need it was my thought when I saw the honeymoon destination: Denver!

I've been twice and I'll just put it this way... the Rockies are pretty and impressive and romantic in parts but Denver is not.

Wouldn't it be great if they became the Bill and Hillary of Ireland? Ya know, just to liven things up a bit.

And who would be the Monica?

BarryW is a bit old for an internship, isn't he? Pity...
