I don't at all agree with what he said, and he does deserve to be expelled from Fine Gael for his remarks, but depriving him of his livelihood is going too far.

I do not think that impacts on his judgement on the size of steel bars to go into foundations! Now if he were the CEO of the company then it could be argued that it would impact on the company's image but otherwise I am not getting this. If Cllr Scully were a civil servant he could not have been suspended never mind sacked!
Is this East Germany or Ireland? Some nutter decides a comment he or she dosen't like is deemed rasict and before you know it your out of a job.
