    Are FG out of options?

5 more years in opposition, with the Labour party not looking like they want another Mullingar, and after reaching the upper limit of there support, are FG cruising for another '02esqe fall in 2012 given that it is virtually impossible for them to be in government.

Oh my. A PD'er and a Shinner getting uppity about FG's electoral prospects. The irony. How many seats have you again?
Brian Hayes taking Crowe's seat must have been a blow, eh Iceman?

    Trying to cheer yourself up?

Concentrate on your own party's future. We're only 6seats seats away from government and that's with an economic boom...

We take six PD seats and and 1 shinner leaving them with 6 to our 51 and they still believe they're prospects are better!
Well it speaks for itself really. If you keep lowering the threshold of success to meet your actual performance, then you'll always be a winner in your own little mind i suppose

look at the pattern of every alternate election since November 1982, and work out how FG are likely to do next time out, especially if there is no pact available
