Will FG punish Cllr Clenndennen by having the name tax defaulter across his forehead?

Taoiseach: We will not 'have name of defaulter across our foreheads' | Irish Examiner

Are FG leaving themselves open to the charge that they are soft on tax defaulters? (after Lowry, pick me ups scandal, double expenses payments)

But Cllr Clendennen is still a serving public representative and member of Fine Gael, over 7 months after he was named by the revenue on their tax defaulters list. The matter is still 'before' a disciplinary committee* despite a senior minister referring the matter to the party's general secretary. There is little evidence of urgency.

*Tom Curran will not tell me who sits on the committee, when it was referred or when they expect it to be concluded. When Paul Curran of the Irish Times contacted the party he got little information except that Cllr Clendennen maintained that he had nothing from the party since the summer.

Con Gallagher, keep this thread alive. The hypocrisy around here, and in the country in general, is disgusting

A bump every once in a while does no harm. It reminds FG'ers that they have yet to get their own house in order.

Who knows what off-topic thoughts creep into your mind?
This thread is about a current FG and and allegation which has not been denied, because it is true: a sitting FG cllr was named by the revenue as a tax defaulter. The party has yet to act against him. Any comments?

I usually bump this in the morning, but maybe the evening/night shift want to add to this thread? (FG supporters particularly welcome).

I am beginning to think that posters, particularly FG ones, are quite happy to ignore the fact that a sitting FG has not yet been disciplined by the party 7 months after being named as a tax defaulter. Why would that be?
