    Nail on the head.

Voted FG all my life. Joined the party too. I walked away from FG in November 2011 after they paid €717 million to unsecured bondholders.
FG lied and continue to lie while implementing the policy of FF/Greens.

Still hanging in by my fingertips, mainly due to the brilliant alternatives, also hoping for an opportunity to say to a ministers face what I have said to our local TD & councillors.

In all seriousness I think it is grossly unfair to judge the Fine Gael party based on it's election promises.

Fine Gael had a great chance to raise the standard of government, there was was no need to continue with false promises, When you hear the likes of Sean O Rourke having to remind Brian Hayes, what Kenny said on his first day in office, Honesty is not just our best policy it is our only policy. The lies continued, the electorate were entitled that the standard would be raised, That has not happened.

Is it from years of being rejected by the people...?
Because it is becoming increasingly obvious that they differ very little from their so called opposition FF.. And delusion is setting in..

Does Cael even know what republicanism is? He seems to consider it to solely some form of rabid leftism!

Why do you think they chose to pay unsecured bondholders and what do you think would have happened if they didn't?
Why did Minister Phil Hogan drop the independent review into planning irregularities within Dublin and Cork city councils and Carlow, Meath, Galway and Cork county councils ?
