Kenny never would have given him Finance as he's not up to it.
And of course his career isn't over or at least there's no guarantee that it is. I'd say many people would have said Michael Noonan's career was over in 2002 and for the last 8 years it looked like it was, but now he's Spokesperson for Finance and who knows what will come next.

In other words, no.
RB asked if he's confident of EK as leader, he says yes.

Jesus. Clare was full of rumours that Joe Carey would get a position. Looks like the Banner county wont have a ministerial TD after the next election.
I'm surprised about Coveney. I remember him being a vocal opponent of Kenny when the whole farce began.
They have two seats in Wicklow and the two TDs actually canvass together so its a good boost to FG in Wicklow given that Timmins got dropped.
Poor old Jimmy Deenihan gets sport and tourism after all his brown nosing. That has to hurt.
